Throughout many years I’ve tried a number of fads diets, from eating a very low-calorie intake, fat blasters, diuretics, diet shakes and juice cleanses. I attempted keto, believing carbs were the enemy! The best but the worst was an unknown formula that I ordered online, which I’m sure had an illicit substance in it considering the side effects it had!! I was so frustrated with all of these quick fix promises and failures, and after chatting with Sal, I just knew I needed to try something different and after speaking with her it just made sense to start working with her.

As a mother, I’ve always put the needs of my family before the needs of my own. Sal helped me to understand that I need to put myself first and prioritise my own health and wellbeing because if I feel strong, healthy, and if I’m in a positive mental and emotional space, that ultimately benefits my family more so. Since working with Sal and following her advice I have seen a substantial difference in my body shape, finally being able to shift that stubborn body fat and build muscle mass. I’ve also had full health assessments along the way and the results are proof that her process works.

The process has also helped me immensely with beginning the “wonderful” experience of perimenopause. To be honest, in the beginning, the process was difficult as I was unlearning decades of false beliefs in regards to nutrition, training, weight loss and health in general. I most definitely challenged Sally at the start! But she was so patient with me, happy to repeat or explain the same thing over and over again until I could understand. I now have more energy. I’m more organised. I don’t stress about food choices as much as I did.

And I am happier in myself. I would highly recommend Sally as a nutrition coach. She is always available when you are in doubt of what you are doing. You just need to listen to her and trust her advice even when you think you should be doing something else, DON’T! It is a process that you need to persist with. And when your mindset changes and you start to see all the benefits you just want to keep going. I look forward to this just being the norm for the rest of my life.

Sal was such a great help for a variety of goals that I had during another COVID lockdown.

Sal provided a strong foundation of good food decisions and understanding, which we then built upon to allow me to excel with my food consumption during intense training for a triathlon.

My goal was to lose body fat while still maintaining optimal training performance and recovery. I managed to drop a size during this process. Once I had a race target for triathlon, we shifted the nutrition for race specific performance.

I also successfully kicked my sugar addiction!

Being smart with my food choices has made me a more complete athlete and improved my recovery and performance. Sal was great to work with and would recommend to anyone! Thanks Sal.

I started on my nutrition journey with Sally 14 weeks ago with a goal to improve my understanding of nutrition principles and to cut body fat for my wedding. Sally has a great way of explaining the concepts of high protein, calorie “budgeting”, carb cycling and other principles that were instrumental in me hitting my goals.
