Salted Caramel Seeded Porridge

Ingredients

Salted date caramel:
- 8 Medjool dates, pitted and soaked in boiling water for 5 minutes, drain
- ½ cup of hot water
- 25g butter
- 1 tsp sea salt flakes

This will make more than you need for two serves, store in the fridge or freezer for later use

Porridge
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 2 Tbsp sesame seeds
- 2 Tbsp sunflower seeds
- 2 Tbsp pumpkin seeds
- 2 Tbsp chia seeds
- 2 cups of boiling water
- 1 cup milk of choice

Toppings - 1 banana, slice - Raspberries - Hemp seeds - Cinnamon

Method

1. Combine the dates, hot water and butter in a blender. Blend until smooth and add salt to taste.

2. Combine the oats and seeds with the water and milk and cook over a medium heat for 10 minutes until the oats have absorbed the liquid.

3. Divide oats into serving bowls and serve with date caramel, banana and raspberries. Sprinkle with hemp seeds and cinnamon.
